Send me a Postcard?

I wish my friends would send me a postcard.
In a stack of 5 papers, could I pick out their handwriting?
I can remember the last video or post they sent me on Instagram.

Platforms desensitize us to what brings us connection.
We’ve lost the culture of personal and meaningful mementos to each other.
Something as simple as a postcard can help bring us back to earth out of the bubble of the cloud.
It’s easy to forget that behind each screen is a person that one of us cares about.
And this begs the question … would they be able to recognize your handwriting?

How special it is, to receive a letter with so much intention and care.
How deeply do we yearn to really connect with the people we care about?
Because at the end of the day, it’s more than just a postcard, it’s a symbol of a deeper correspondence straight from my hands to yours.
